I’ve got one of these recently and I’ve got an odd issue, when I hit the power switch the battery clicks and the neutral light dims. After this if I pull the pull rope once or twice then hit the start button it will start fine. Is this just a battery issue?

I bought same quad (except 2001) about a month ago knowing it had issues. I love 4wheelers, grew up riding them and wanted to learn how to repair them. I know nothing about Atv/car/or ANY motor mechanics so am very novice and teaching myself. 🤪 It’s been a while since you made video, have you had any trouble with hondamatic system? On mine, changed angle sensor but it won’t go through initiation process so am now kchasing why it’s in limp mode. Cleared code 6 (angle sensor) & now it’s throwing 11 so my next step is checking ECM wires back to battery. Fortunately, found the service manual online but that has been my only guidance since I haven’t found video with particular issue on RUclips. Your video is very reassuring, nice job! I also bought 07 Rancher with it from same guy but planned to sell after fixing minor things and then keep the 01 Rubicon for myself….I was starting to question my decision so thank you, I feel better!! Appreciate any advice!!!! Happy almost New Year! =)

I’m 17, My grandpa surprised me with this exact one except in yellow yesterday, Bought it for a steal and i’m over the moon about it. The gentleman we purchased from did routine maintenance and kept it bone stock. Hope to get plenty of life out of it.
